Welcome to Warren’s Singapore, as an Expat living in the country since 2001 I started the site to help people traveling to Singapore to know what took me years to find out and to provide information that people asked or looked for before coming to the country.
If you are a visitor looking to what Singapore has to offer or a business traveler you will find the information on the site helpful and mostly useful. This site has been in operation since 2004 and is updated often so you have the most recent information at your finger tips. Too often sites die off after a few years and are not updated which make them useless to the reader who is given the wrong info or where to go and what to see. Since my site is a one man show I use my spare time to make the updates so there is a chance you may find something that is a resent change that I have not caught yet. With the amount of info given on the site it gets hard to cover every update as they happen you know but trust me I will get to them very quickly!
The Directory section covers places you maybe looking for of importance or on relaxation, while the Life in Singapore covers what living in Singapore is really like. The life section also covers everyday items like transportation and general information that is good to know. Looking for information, working or jobs then the employment section is what you want. If you can not find what you want look on the Site Map page or the Search and see what you come up with off my site and you should find a site there to answer your questions or get you going on the right direction to a site that covers it about Singapore.
My clubbing information section, which is the largest section of the site as a list of discos, bars, pubs, night clubs and KTV’s in Singapore, over 750 places a listed and the list is still growing. Regardless of the kind of night clubs you like you will find them here, but you have to know where to find them and that is why I have maps to the locations to help you find them if you are new to Singapore or just not sure where to go. I update these list every six months so the information is as correct as I can get it.
If it has been a number of years since you last visited Singapore you will find many new changes both in the landscape and the life styles. The night life has vastly improved with clubs being able to stay open 24 in select areas of the city, and the number of night clubs has grown. On the down side most of the old happening night clubs and bars are mostly gone now like Devils bar, Top 10, China Jump, China Black and several others but they have been replaces by newer night clubs which are great places to meet girls or guys to party with.
In September of 2008 Singapore had the Formula 1 race at night which is a first for F1. Soon both casinos well be open (April 2010) and Universal Studios to add to the places to visit along with the Singapore Flyer Ferris Wheel. Singapore is not the same place it was 5 years or will be in the next 5 years.
Enjoy the site
